Selected work

Animals, figures, and gods.

Three subjects returned again and again: creatures, human figures, and deities from two traditions that rarely share a shelf.

Close-up of the torch: a blue flame cone striking a glass rod until it glows orange.

At the torch

Solid figures, drawn in the flame.

This is not blown glass. The rod is held in the flame until it softens, then drawn and shaped by hand — no moulds, no castings, so no two pieces are ever alike.
